SIA Licensing Process

Once you have completed the course your exam papers will be sent to Highfields to be marked.

Once they have processed your papers the results will be sent to us. Certificates for the candidates that have successfully passed will be sent to us for distribution – these will be sent to the address you used to register/pay for the course.

You can then apply for your licence.

Applying for your licence

If you are applying for your licence for the first time then we recommend that you use the form on the SIA website – Please note that paper based forms are no longer accepted for SIA Applications.

When your form has been submitted you can then take your identification documentation to one of the 750 post offices to complete your application.
